About The ToC

In 2005, an idea was hatched in Tampa, Florida to put together a national high school basketball tournament that would rival all other amateur basketball events in the country. This event would eventually be known as the Kevin Brown Memorial Tournament of Champions and in eleven years would become one of the most recognized boys’ hoops tournaments in America.

ToC fans have witnessed amazing high schools teams and incredible basketball talent! Players like NBA All-Stars Anthony Davis and DeAndre Jordan have slam dunked their way into ToC hoops lore. High Flying Stars such as Andrew Wiggins, Zion Williamson, E.J. Liddell and Myles Turner have provided sensational performances that will be forever remembered by ToC audiences. Local stars such as Alec Peters, Max Bielfeldt, Matt Roth and Devin Whitelow hold numerous ToC records, while standing tall against high-level national competition.

Fans of the ToC have witnessed nationally ranked teams such as Findlay Prep, Huntington Prep, La Lumiere School and the 2007 National Champions- Duncanville, Texas. Fans have watched as local schools, Washington and Peoria Notre Dame, captured tournament titles against high powered programs from across the U.S.!

The Kevin Brown Memorial Tournament of Champions will continue to strive towards excellence while providing fans an early look at the next great NBA stars, college All-Americans and elite high school players and teams. We look forward to seeing you next Thanksgiving in Washington, Illinois!

Game On!
